We're on our way

Yipee at last we're on our way. Since we started this blog we've been working absolutely flat out trying to get ready for our trip. The house is now almost finished and we had hoped to post some photographs but believe it or not we didn't get time to take any. You'll just have to trust us that it's in a some what better state than it was.
The party at Hodgsons was great and thanks to all of you that made it. Pictures will be posted shortly.
When we got on the train in Hull a couple of hours ago Alison said "is this the first time we've sat down, with nothing to do since leaving work". I had to tell her no and that she sould get her finger out and get on with some more admin. She's busy filling in forms right now as I'm typing this.
We leave Heathrow at 20.30 flying to Delhi. From then on we've no idea what we're going to do. We haven't even booked a hotel. But guess what it'll be fun. No more work, no more DIY, no more bloody admin.

First Update

Trina has very kindly set up this blog for us. We're still not sure if we know what a blog is but we hope this is working.

Attached are a couple of photographs of our house three weeks ago.

1st is the rear of the house showing the extension with no roof. 2nd is our dining room.

Flights are booked!! Yippee!!

We are leaving on 25th Feb and flying to Delhi.

Garry has been trying to do a deal through the telephone operator at the Orange call centre to buy a tuk tuk.

We are now the proud owners of a 20 foot sea container. Despite suggestions that it may not be seaworthy we have decided to store our worldy goods in it at Proccy's farm. Thanks Proccy!!

Finished work at 9.10pm on Friday - so much for being unemployed!!
